Inspired to work with fabric, or to make a quilt but not sure where to start? Start your dreamed-of project with help from Luna!  In this class Luna wants to cover the basics of using your machine, pattern reading, measuring and cutting, and all the key steps in putting together your first quilt from how to get started to finishing touches. Give us a call if you have specific questions about the topics we will cover, we want to make sure you build a solid foundation in quilting.

Learn how to make an American Flag quilt using the classic quilting tumbler block.  This beginner pattern cuts and assembles quickly and finishes to approximately 2'x3'.

It is made with 5" fabric squares: 9 blue, 21 white and 26 red.

Materials to Bring: 5" red (26), white (21) & blue (9) squares and 1yd of fabric for the border, sewing machine, notions & tools.

Join us and create your own postcard-sized miniature silhouette quilt! We will guide you through the pattern, the process of color planning and composition, fabric and texture options, layering, and finishing.

Class fee includes pattern and materials; just bring your machine.

This four-patch posie pattern is a type of kalidescope pattern that works very well with strong, bold patters, and novelty fabrics. The whole pattern only requires one fabric, and the way you cut and rotate the fabric and blocks, determines how your quilt will look in the end; scales up and down in size easily. You will need enough fabric to provide you with 4 repeats of the fabric pattern.

How does Luna get those wild colors in her hand dyed fabrics?! With MAGICAL ICE DYE! 

Each participant will have one yard of prepared cotton quilting (44"wide) fabric to dye to their heart's desire! We will have a variety of colors available for you to choose from. The fee for this class includes all materials. We are very excited to show you how to make your own magical fabric!
